Day - 1 -
Upon your arrival at the airport, your private driver will welcome you and drive you to your Riad, where you will be welcomed with a refreshing mint tea. After Check in, you will take time to familiarise yourself with your room and enjoy the facilities the Riad can offer. This evening you will have the chance to visit the famed square of Djemaa el-Fna, where delectable fare is grilled over coals in bustling torch-lit open-air markets. Mystical snake charmers, hustlers and mischievous monkeys are part of the nightly drama that unfolds, as Berber acrobats, fortune tellers, musicians and engaging storytellers seduce rapt crowds. Alternatively you can take a horse trip around the city, which will give you a taste of what awaits you and help you relax after your flight.
Day - 2 -
Having enjoyed your breakfast, your driver and guide will pick you up and take you to discover the wonders of Marrakech. Make sure you take your camera fully charged as you will discover some amazing places and meet some wonderful people! Visit the various touristic attractions and historical monuments such as El Koutoubia, Cyber Parc Arsat Moulay Abdeslam, the Souks during the day. And don’t miss Jemaa el-Fna Squarethat metamorphoses into a vivid splendid place full of scents and melodies in the evening.
Day - 3 -
Today is dedicated to explore the less well-known yet serene and marvellous corners of the ochre ancient city. You could wander around the peaceful Majorelle Gardens, a beautiful and inspiring place where you can relax away from the noise of the souqs. Enjoy the Berber Museum of the Yves Saint Laurent 'Galerie Love' that displays vibrant paintings created by the French fashion designer. In the evening, you could head to Djemaa El Fna, the city's lively main square, or enjoy a dinner at one of best Restaurant in the city.
Day - 4 -
Today, you will focus on enjoying a family cooking demonstration besides exploring the food souks of Marrakech, then cooking and eating your self-made Moroccan meal. You will discover another side of Morocco’s gastronomy and grasp the way the typical Moroccan food is prepared .
Day - 5 -
Today you will be leaving the vibrant ochre city of Marrakech behind and heading to the tranquil majestic Mountains.
Once you arrive at your accommodation in the peaceful foothills you can relax and unwind with a cup of tea while enjoying the views of the green hills and valleys.
Day - 6 -
Today you will enjoy a wonderful trek, visit locals in their villages and enjoy tea with Berber family before returning to the lodge through some simple yet wonderful and peaceful villages and landscapes. The local guide will be all the time at your service. So you can enjoy the trek and nature at your own pace.
After watching the sun rise over the mountains, you return downhill to Kasbah du Toubkal where you can spend the afternoon relaxing, or explore the village further.
Day - 7 -
Your second full day in the mountains will bring you the joy to amble in the Toubkal National Park where the highest peak in North Africa arrogantly stands. At your return to your Gite where you can spend the afternoon relaxing, or explore the village further.
Day - 8 -
It is time to say good bye to these majestic mountains! After you enjoy your breakfast you will head to the coastal town of Essaouira. On your way you will enjoy the vast fields of Argan trees and few Argan Oil Cooperatives, where the local women would be happy to show you the process of extracting the golden oil from the Argan nuts. After you arrive at your hotel, take your times to familiarise yourself with the hotel or Riad facilities and you could spend the rest of day walking around the beachside feeling the breeze before you set for your dinner in some of the nicest restaurant in the town.
Day - 9 & 10 -
These couple of days are reserved for a visit to the artistic windy city of Essaouira. One of the Portuguese fortresses from the 15th century. A city where wood handicraft merges with culinary arts, fisheries, windy beaches and UNESCO-classified heritage- the “Medina”-. Once there, you have many options. You may go for activities like quad biking, surfing, horse trekking and wind surfing, especially that the city is known for its great beaches and surf activities. You can also choose to spend the day discovering what the Medina has to offer from artisanal wood workshops and lovely souks to Portuguese monuments and art exhibitions. Another alternative is to relax either on the beach or in one of the various cafés with terraces. Don’t forget to enjoy your night out in the city, a night unlike any others!
Day - 11 -
Today is your return home day. Our driver will pick you up from your hotel for a private transfer back to Marrakech Menara Airport in time for your flight home.
